It's wonderful to
see these majestic boats passing through the
canal in the winter. To see them laden
with ice is incredible. While shipping
ends for two months in the winter, you can still
see eagles perched on ice flows, and the
snow-covered aerial bridge, as the surrounding
area takes on a magical feel in the winter as
well. It's truly a winter wonderland.
