I just wanted to let you know how much my husband and I enjoyed our
recent stay at the South Pier Inn (October 1). We felt as though we were in
an apartment, rather than a hotel. The individual balconies and the view
of the canal are great. We saw several ships come by our window, as well
as a cruise ship. We also loved the Jacuzzi, the fireplace and the
robes. Thanks for providing an alternative to the typical hotel stay.

We just returned from a two night visit at your inn and we must say that
were extremely impressed with the whole experience! Upon checkout, we
made a reservation to return again next fall for a few days (and hopefully
sooner!) and we are thrilled to have discovered such a quaint spot to
relax on our journeys to Duluth.

really enjoyed my recent stay at the South Pier
Inn. For my purposes, the hotel is ideally located
and its amenities are superb. Its most outstanding
feature, I believe, is the staff at the front desk,
everyone there is extremely personable and
helpful. I stopped by in October when I was in
town and the warm reception I received at the front desk
was probably the greatest factor in my decision to stay
there when I returned in December.
As the president of a
travel agency, it is a distinct pleasure for me to
observe a facility that is so well located, designed,
furnished and operated, it is a credit to the travel
industry and I am pleased to do whatever I can to help
it find its niche.

just got home and wanted to let you know how much we
enjoyed our unexpected delightful experience at the
South Pier Inn. Staying at the South Pier Inn made
it difficult to enjoy other lodging. We drove
around looking for birds and had an unexpectedly
wonderful experience: a peregrine falcon buzzing a
red-tailed hawk. No matter how many times I see a peregrine
falcon in pursuit it's still a huge thrill.

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at the South
Pier Inn. We had a terrific visit to our hometown of Duluth and
couldn't have been more pleased with our lodging accommodations. The
South Pier Inn is exceptionally nice and the location is outstanding.
What a pleasure to watch the boat traffic in and out of the harbor up
close and personal. We will be back!!
